How to Top Up Your KAST Card: The Cheapest & Fastest Way (Solana vs ETH)

KAST

Rule #1 of the Vault: Don’t Burn Money on Gas. ⛽️

You have your KAST card ready. Congratulations. But right now, it’s just digital dust.

To spend like a whale, you need to load the vault. In this guide, I will show you exactly how to deposit USDT/USDC into KAST without losing $20 on Ethereum gas fees.

The Golden Rule: Solana vs. Ethereum

KAST supports multiple networks (Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Base, etc.). But just because you can use Ethereum, doesn’t mean you should.

Here is the math. Why would you pay $5 just to load $50 for lunch?

Network Speed Gas Fee (Approx) Catgirl’s Rating
Solana (SOL) Instant (Seconds) $0.001 Best
Ethereum (ETH) Slow (Mins) $3.00 – $20.00 Avoid
Tron (TRX) Fast $1.00 ⚠️ Okay
🐾 The Strategy: Even if your funds are on Ethereum (e.g., Metamask), I recommend swapping them to Solana via a bridge or an exchange first, then sending to KAST. It’s cleaner and cheaper in the long run.

Method A: The “Smart” Way (Solana via Phantom)

This is how 99% of KAST users should do it. It works with USDT or USDC.

Step 1: Get Your Address

  1. Open the KAST App.
  2. Tap the “Deposit” button (or “Receive”).
  3. Select “Stablecoin”.
  4. CRITICAL: Select “Solana” as the network.
  5. Copy the Wallet Address displayed (starts with a random string of letters).

Step 2: Send from Phantom

  1. Open your Phantom Wallet.
  2. Select USDT or USDC.
  3. Tap “Send” and paste your KAST address.
  4. Confirm the transaction.

Result: Your phone should buzz with a notification from KAST in about 5 to 10 seconds. The funds are now ready to spend via Visa.

Method B: The “Rich” Way (Ethereum via MetaMask)

If you are an ETH whale and don’t care about burning fees, here is how to do it.

  1. In the KAST App, select “Deposit” > “Stablecoin”.
  2. CRITICAL: Select “Ethereum (ERC-20)”.
  3. Copy the address (starts with 0x...).
  4. Go to MetaMask, select USDT, and Send.
  5. Wait for block confirmations (can take 2-10 mins).

Warning: Do not send ETH (the token) directly. Convert it to USDT/USDC first, or check if KAST supports native ETH deposits in your region. Stick to Stablecoins to be safe.

FAQ: Troubleshooting Deposits

“I sent money but it hasn’t arrived!”

Don’t panic. Check these three things:

  1. Did you pick the right network? If you sent Solana USDT to an Ethereum address, the funds might be lost. (Always double-check!).
  2. Is the blockchain congested? Sometimes Solana or Ethereum has hiccups. Check the transaction hash on Solscan or Etherscan.
  3. Minimum Deposit? KAST usually has a minimum deposit of around $10-$20. Sending $1 might not show up.

“Can I deposit Bitcoin (BTC)?”

Directly? No. KAST is a modern Web3 card focused on Stablecoins and Smart Contract chains. Swap your BTC for USDT on an exchange like Bybit, then send it over.

Ready to Swipe?

Now that your vault is loaded, you are dangerous. You can walk into any store and pay with crypto.
